Weekly Update (Really Fortnightly), (4th-10th Jan, 2016)

Hi Everyone,

So I might've missed a few weekly updates with Christmas and the New Year but I'm back and ready for the first one of 2016!

My family and I were travelling over Christmas and we ended up in one of the bigger cities on Boxing Day which of course meant we went a little crazy with the shopping!  I probably spent the most money at Uniqlo as I've got a bit of a thing for just wardrobe basics.  Honestly if you look inside my closet it's probably most made up on white, black and grey.  Not very interesting but at least everything goes together right!  I bought some of the things I was after in my Boxing Day Wishlist (namely a white shirt and the beauty blender).  From memory I bought three pairs of jeans, two shirts, a dress, a couple of singlets and a skirt, a skirt and a pair of pretty kick ass boots.  I think I'm going to be putting myself on a very strict sort of spending ban in which I'm trying to cut down on impulse buys.  Not saying that any of the items I bought were impulse buys, most of them are things I would've bought even at full price, but for this year I'd like to focus on saving money rather than spending it.  (Even as I say this, I'm fairly sure my next post is a Daiso Haul Post :/)

Which brings me to my next point.  Sorry if it's a tad rant-y but work has given me barely any shifts. Even my normal shift got given to someone else, and to make it worse she has about five shifts this week!  I just think it's a bit unfair honestly.  And another thing to be vaguely pissed off this week at. I'm breaking out randomly and I'm not even sure what the cause is.  It can't be my period and I haven't been using any new products so I just don't know what it could be.  It seems to be clearing up though so by next week hopefully I'll have better news.

Things I've been enjoying this week would have to be Pandora and CodeAcademy.  It was recently brought to my attention that I don't really have much of a music taste and to fix(?) this I turned towards Pandora.  It's a great way to discover other artists which share similar characteristic to artists you already listen to and like.  If any of you guys have any recommendations to indie rock or just really anything at this moment I'll be glad to take them!  On CodeAcademy I've been learning some HTML basics.  I'm currently going through tables which I'm finding a tad challenging.  It's a great way to learn though.  The instruction and information are very clearly communicated and it's great being able to practice using it as well.

Went out to see Star Wars again which was pretty epic (even the second time round).  Apart from that though I haven't really had too much social contact and I'm hoping to change that next week.

So that's about all I can think of for the last two weeks.

How was your New Years and Christmas?  How were your weeks?  Tell me down below!

Kay :)
