Stuff I Want to Use Up

Hi everyone.

In case you're wondering, this post today is in regards to my New Year's Resolution's for products that I want to use up over the next calendar year (and mini reviews on these products).  You can read my philosophy for this on that post (just skip down to number five).  To be fair, most of these are about half done which is probably why I picked them as I tend to sort of 'hoard' stuff once it starts getting used up instead of actually finishing it.

1) Essence All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder.

I hit pan on this about November last year and I've since been focusing solely on it.  The packaging also broke so I want to finish it so I can move onto my Rimmel stay matte powder which is probably more convenient for travel and also just for the satisfaction of completely finishing a product.

2) Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Neutraliser

This is slightly more than half finished.  I bought this probably two or three years ago and while I don't necessarily believe in the makeup expiration dates being thrown around I do think that this needs to be used up as I have other concealers waiting for me.  I only started using this regularly late this year and progress is quite fast with this concealer.

3) Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dark & Dark Brown

This works well enough and it's the most empty of all of my dry shampoos.  I really need to use it up as I've got plenty more dry shampoo's hanging around waiting to be used

4) Essence Brow Designer in Black

My first eyebrow product!  As you can see it's getting quite small though a little bit goes a long way which means this has lasted me ages.  As it is black it can be a tad harsh but it blends away well if you make a mistake.  I have other eyebrow pencils waiting for me so I want to finish this one up.

5) NYX HD Eyeshadow Base

I bought this because of Brightest Bulb in the Box's review on it.  It works well but is getting old and I'd rather use this up then let it go bad.

6) Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+, PA +++

I love this sunscreen.  It doesn't make me break out and gives a nice satin finish under makeup. However, I want to use this up so I can use my Hada Labo sunscreen which is more moisturising later this year in winter.

7) Biore Triple Action Toner

A bit of a myspace angle but we'll go with it.

Almost done.  This'll be any easy empty!  I estimate it to have maybe one month of use left?  We'll see soon hopefully.

8) Shiseido Perfect Whip

Drying but I use it in the shower and immediately put on moisturiser.  Sorry the tube looks a bit janky.  Maybe three months left of product if I actually use it.

So that concludes everything I want to use up.  Most of them will be easy empties but I'll probably swap in products after I finish them so I don't lose momentum with this.  Hopefully I can also post updates on this and I'll be prioritising reviews of these products as well.  Is there anything that you're aiming to use up as well?  Anyone you want me to review first?
