What I Grab in a Rush: My 5 Product Face

Hola Everyone,

So as you might have gathered, I've been super busy.  Back to School is a massive rush and I've already got more assignments than I'm really comfortable with!  I'll talk more about it in the monster weekly update I'm posting later on this week, but today I thought we'd talk about what happens pretty much every morning for me.  I'll wake up late, panic, breakfast, shower then chuck on whatever clothes are closest to me at that very moment.  If I'm lucky I might just have five minutes left over to quickly slap something onto my face (and I don't just mean that metaphorically).  I've found that these five products are ones that I can rely on to make a subtle impact on my face, in the shortest amount of time without being overly complicated.

The Maybelline FitMe Concealer in Sand is probably my favourite concealer I own out of the three I own (which you can see in this blogpost).  On days when I'm rushing I'll use this on both blemishes and on any under eye darkness I might have.  I would classify this as having a medium coverage and it works quite well for both blemishes and on undereyes.  It doesn't crease for me or move around (which is good as most days I'll neglect to use powder) and I'd say it has quite a luminous finish without being glittery.  I'll typically blend this in with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush which gives a lovely streak free finish to the skin.

If you ask a lot of people, mascara is one of the things they won't step out of the house without and I suppose that the same could really be said about me.  Maybelline Waterproof Full 'n' Soft Mascara is my drug of choice presently.  It provides natural looking volume and length but most importantly to me is that it holds a curl.  Being a waterproof formula it can be a tad more difficult to remove but a good oil cleanser normally does the trick for me.  I find as it is open for longer it tends to smudge throughout the day which is a tad annoying but for now it's serving its purpose in my collection.

I've recently really been loving my Daiso Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Grey which retails for a grand total of $2.80.  It's packaging is reminiscent of the much lauded Anastasia Brow Wiz with a very thin retractable pencil with a spoolie on the other end. I find the dark grey colour to be much more forgiving than the black essence pencil I was using before and I prefer the spoolie over the tooth brush head style on the other pencil.

One Essence product I have been loving though is the Essence Silky Touch Blush in Natural Beauty.  It gives a very natural looking flush to the skin with a nice luminous sheen on the skin.  It's pretty hard to over apply but it is also pigmented enough to go on with a single swipe on the EcoTools Tapered Blush Brush.  It gives a bit more colour to the face when you're looking a bit peaky in the mornings.

To round it off I've picked a MLBB gloss, NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu.  I find gloss more forgiving on the lips and this formula is really great.  It really plumps up the lips without being overly sticky.  The colour is like a slightly pinker version of my own natural lip colour which makes it super low maintenance as it wears off quite naturally.  This is probably one of my most used lip products I own.

January Faves, Fails and Finishes

Hi everyone,

It's almost surreal that a twelfth of 2016 has already gone by, (to be honest I've written 2015 by mistake more times than I really want to admit this past month) but it's now for my very first monthly faves, fails and finishes.  I haven't really tried anything new this month in terms of beauty.  It seems that I've put myself on a no-buy for this year without even realising it which is actually really good. It's given me the opportunity to really get stuck into my existing makeup stash which you can see in full here.  But without further ado I present to you my faves, fails and finishes!

Faves

So for this month I have five beauty favourites which are:

  • Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+
  • Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh EDT
  • Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Purple Heart
  • Savvy by DB Classic Blush in Cherry
  • Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Neutraliser

The Biore sunscreen is great for Summer.  It has both SPF 50+ and PA++++ protection but it's also a very cosmetically elegant sunscreen.  It has no white cast, dries down quickly and most importantly (at least for me) is it isn't tacky on the skin.  It does have a bit of a fake orange scent that I personally don't mind but I know that some people don't like it.  It contains quite a bit of alcohol that can be drying but in Summer I prefer to minimise any possible shine on the skin.

Mmmm. This was the very first perfume love.  I got it for Christmas two years ago and I've still only used half of it (though I do tend to forget to put on perfume on a day to day basis).  It is very floral and sweet.  On me it tends towards quite a green raspberry scent with a tad of rose (my skin amps rose like no ones business!).  It has decent sillage, it's something you notice only in close contact with another person and it tends to last on me about 5-6 hours.  This is a great day scent for the warmer weather.

Loving them cuticles

You might remember this image from my weekly update here and I've been loving it all January.  The colour of the polish is beautiful with a bit more colour in the skin, I tend to find this difficult to wear during the winter months.  It requires two coats to opacity but three is preferable to really even it out. The formula is decent, it lasts on me about a week with minimal chipping (under the Sally Hansen InstaDri TopCoat) which is pretty brilliant considering I work in retail and that's pretty hard on the hands.

On the left is an unblended finger swatch, and on the right is a diffused brush swatch
The Savvy Classic Blushes were a bit of a surprise love for me.  I bought them about a year ago and they've quickly become one of my favourites in my collection.  They are literally the cheapest blush on offer at Priceline at $4.99.  They are pigmented without being powdery difficult to work with and give a nice satin-y finish to the skin.  They last me about 7 hours before fading and the shade Cherry gives a lovely ruddy sort of look to the skin.  This is a great blush for a great price and I'd recommend you try this one out!

I've been loving this concealer for both under eyes and also oddly enough on blemishes.  It has a very thin consistency but still has decent coverage.  At the moment it's actually matching the rest of my face as well which really just proves to you how much of a yellow-undertone I have.  It's easily blendable though I don't particularly like the applicator mechanism.  I might rip off the sponge in the future and just dispense the product straight off.  This is a great, yellow toned lightweight concealer that I recommend if you have similar colouring to me (Approx NC25-30).

Fails

It's always sad when thing you research and buy end up being duds.  That being said, I hope my experiences with these products will help you, either in deciding for or against purchasing them.  This month the fails are:

  • Essence I Love Extreme Waterproof Mascara
  • Essence Longlasting Eye Pencil in Black Fever
  • Etude House Bright Fit BB Cream in W13

I couldn't get my stupid depth of field right for this shot but I hope you can see the massive amount of product clumped on to the tip of it.  This mascara has a very big bristle wand.  I tend to prefer bristle wands but find overly large ones difficult to use on the entire lashline.  I felt the brush dispensed too much product making the lashes look clumpy.  I felt the formula was also a bit lacking.  While decently black, it was clumpy and abrupt in a way.  My lashes seemed to suddenly stop instead of tapering off naturally at the ends.  Though it gave decent volume it didn't do a lot for lengthening.  It's waterproof yet is terrible at holding a curl; I could watch my eyelashes droop right  before my eyes as I put this on and I always managed to end up with smudges under my eyes by the end of the day. While not right for me, this might be something you're interested in if already have long, sparser eyelashes and large eyes and simply looking for an affordable mascara to give you some volume.

Essence really didn't have a good time with me in January!  This eyeliner is very black and creamy but my main problem was that it tended to smudge despite claiming to be longlasting.  I felt like a raccoon everytime I had this on.  It's a mechanical eyeliner but the lead is a little brittle so you can't twist it up too much or it snaps.  Definitely not something I'd repurchase.

Finishe(s)

Only one finish this month the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dark & Dark Brown, but it was a product from my Stuff I Want to Use Up post here.  This was nice and I might consider repurchasing it once I finish the rest of my dry shampoos.  The tint is dark enough not to stand out in my hair.  The dry shampoo does decently well at disguising disgusting hair but I can only use this once before I need to wash it.  It was a bit powdery smelling but I think I prefer that to anything overly floral or fruity.

So that concludes my monthly foray into alliteration.  Tell me, what products did you love this month?  Anything you hated with the passion of a thousand fiery suns?  What did you finish?  Once again I bid you a fair farewell.

Priceline 40% off Skincare Haul, 27-28th January 2016

Hi Everyone,

So over the 27th-28th January Priceline held one of it's bi-annual 40% off skincare sales and I took this opportunity to purchase some products that I've been interested in.  I purchased five items and spent a total of $40.33 which isn't too bad though I had meant to try and stay under $35 all together. I tend to have normal skin that leans dry with minor blemishes.  It's not particularly sensitive to any ingredients (as far as I know) but I haven't tried any of these yet because I want to patch test and introduce each item slowly first (it sucks breaking out and not knowing what's causing it!).

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water 400mL - $7.79

I bought this to replace my L'Oreal Micellar Water which I'll probably finish within the next two months or so.  Reviews have said that it's the best available at a lower price point not that I've really used enough micellar waters to compare it against.  This was the cheapest option available at my Priceline.

Ingedients
Aqua/Water, Hexylene Glycol, Glycerin, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium EDTA, Poloxamer 184, Polyaminopropyl, Biguanide.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 125mL - $5.57

While it would have been much more cost efficient to get a larger size but I've never used this product before and I didn't want to get a large size if I ended up hating it or breaking out from it.  I'm excited to try this especially as it's meant to be pH balanced as my current cleanser Shiseido Perfect Whip has much to high of a pH which makes it much less effective as part of my skincare routine.

Ingredients
Purified Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laurel Sulphate, Stearyl Alcohol, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate, Butyl Hydroxybenzoate.

Sukin Cream Cleanser 125mL - $5.99

I didn't actually mean to pick this up, I meant to get the Sukin foaming cleanser instead but I can't really complain after seeing some great reviews for this online for people who share similar skin type to me.  I've also taken a sniff at it and it smells nice, even though some people do have a preference for no fragrance in their skincare products, I do like a little something to liven it up a bit.

Ingredients
Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sesamum Indicum Sesame Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil (Rose Hip), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail) Extract, Arctium Lappa (Burdock) Extract, Urtica Doiica (Nettle) Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angusfolia (Lavendar) Oil, Vanillin, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Linalool, Limonene.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream 17g - $8.99

One of my friends has this and when I borrowed some one night I absolutely loved it.  It smells more like lemon rind than straight lemon and it has a moisturising but not overly greasy feel to it.  I use this at night after I put on hand cream.

Ingredients
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Beeswax,Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Beta-Carotene, Canoli Oil, Vegetable Oil.

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil - 20mL - $11.99

This was the product that I was most excited about from this haul.  I've got friends who swear by
rosehip oil as being instrumental in cleaning up their skin so I wanted to get my hands on some. I purchased the Trilogy version as it was pure rosehip oil rather a mix with another type of oil.  Using it makes me feel like I'm in an apothecary carefully measuring out the exact amount drop by drop. It's always fun to find a product that makes you feel super fancy while you're using it!

Ingredients
Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Seed Oil.

So that brings to a close my Priceline Skincare Haul.  Tell me, did you purchase anything from this sale?  Have you tried any of these products before?  Feel free to tell me :)

Weekly Update, (18-24th Jan)

Hi everyone,

How've your weeks been?  Mine's been pretty painful, and I do mean that literally!  This week's been pretty much dominated by the fact that I got my wisdom teeth out.  Honestly, it's not been too bad, just a bit of swelling and bruising  though for the first couple of hours after the surgery I felt like a semi-high chipmunk!  If you're getting your wisdom teeth out then I have to say to you cool packs are going to be your best friend.

That's honestly about it for now, I honestly can't write anymore for the moment.  I'm going to go take some panadol and take a nap and hope the pain goes away :)

My Visual Makeup Collection and Storage

Hi everyone!

Today I'll be sharing with you my makeup collection and storage.  My collection is not what you'd call minimalistic, in fact I estimate I have more makeup than the average person my age.  However, it's definitely not on the same level as other more serious beauty bloggers.  It's comprised of mostly lower end products with the occasional mid range item thrown in the mix.  I suppose for me this doubles as a bit of a visual makeup inventory for me(I already have a spreadsheet which I can also share) and is a good way of reminding myself of what I already have.  So without further ado, let's head onwards to my visual inventory.

Storage

For storage I have a clear, four drawer acrylic stationary storage which I bought from Officeworks for $16.96 here.  It's not the most elegant storage set; it feels a tad flimsy and the drawers can squeak a little bit. Regardless it's still sturdy enough for my purposes and the larger fourth drawer is more useful to me than many other acrylic storage options.  Each drawer can also be popped out for easier organisation.  I have lined each drawer with a non slip mat which I bought in a roll from Daiso then cut to size. This is especially useful for my lip drawer to stop the tubes from rolling around.  For a total storage cost of just under ~$20, I don't think that this system is too shabby at all!

Eyes

Eyeshadow
Clockwise from top left:

  • Lorac Pro 1 Palette
  • Chi Chi Glamorous Eye Palette in Nudes
  • Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Walking on Eggshells (depotted)
  • Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Sweet as Candy (depotted)
  • Guerlain Duo Poudre Pour les Paupieres in Istanbul
  • Maybelline Eye Studio Colour Tattoo 24HR Metal in Inked in Pink
  • Estee Lauder Color Envy Lisa Perry 7 Pan Palette
  • Lorac Skinny Palette in Nude
For someone who doesn't really like eyeshadow very much, I think I've got way too much of it

Goodness!  Counting individual shades I've got 51, most of which are neutral.  In all honestly I don't need this much eyeshadow.  Next time I mention wanting to buy anymore please direct me back to this image so I can judge myself for having way more than I need.

Eyeliner
Get back in line Koji Pencil Liner!

From L-R:

  • EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Pot Liner in Blackest Black
  • Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Liner in Deep Black
  • Etude House Drawing Show Brush Liner in BK801
  • Essebce Longlasting Eye Pencil in Black Fever
  • Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner in Brown
  • Wet n Wild ColorIcon Brow and Eyeliner in Bronzed
  • Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Nude
  • Max Factor Liquid Effect Pencil in Lilac Flame
  • Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil in Surfer Babe
I'm not too fussed about this section even if I rarely wear eyeliner.  Still, I won't be purchasing anymore until I can make a good dent in the stash here.

Eyebrows, Mascaras and Eye Primers

From L-R:

  • Essence I Love Extreme Volume Waterproof in Black
  • Maybelline Full 'n' Soft Waterproof in Blackest Black(unopened
  • Daiso Brow Pencil in Grey
  • Daiso Brow Pencil in Grey (unopened)
  • Essence Eyebrow Designer in Black
  • Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer (sample size)
  • NYX HD Eyeshadow Base
I'm pretty happy with this section.  Two of these items are products I want to use up this year and everything else gets rotated through pretty regularly.  To be honest, I can't wait to chuck out the Essence mascara and go back to my old faithful Maybelline so that'll get rid of things doubly quick.

Face

Sunscreen

From L-R:

  • Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel
  • Hada Labo Perfect UV Gel
  • Etude House Sunprise Must Daily
Suprise suprise, these are all Asian sunscreens.  I much prefer the formulas of these over what is more prevalent in the Australian market.  They aren't tacky, don't leave a white cast and give a much nicer finish to the skin which in turn makes it much more likely for me to wear them.  Currently trying to pan the Biore first after which I'll probably switch to the Hada Labo instead.

Foundation, BB Cream and Concealers

From L-R:
  • Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in Beige Claire, 53
  • Maybelline Pure BB Mineral Watergel in Medium Beige, 02
  • Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Classic Beige
  • Maybelline FitMe Concealer in Sand, 20
  • Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Neutraliser
As you can see, I don't really favour foundations or BB creams to even out my complexion,  Instead I'll normally just conceal dark circles with either the Age Rewind or the Rimmel then spot conceal blemishes with the FitMe concealer.  Regardless, I still like having the option to really even out my skin somedays which is why I keep the foundation and the BB cream around.

Loose Powders

From L-R:
  • Maybelline Mineral Power Foundation in Light 4
  • W7 Sheer Loose Powder in Honey
I don't really use loose powders much, they're typically too messy.  I might get rid of these and get a truly translucent loose powder later on in the year.  Maybe.

Pressed Powders

From L-R:
  • Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder in Translucent
  • Rimmel Stay Matte in Translucent
I'm so pleased with the amount of pan I've hit on the Essence powder!  I'll hopefully use that up and then move onto the Rimmel. At this point I'm probably set for the next year in terms of pressed powders.

Blush
Add caption

Clockwise from Top Left:
  • Essence Blush Up! Powder Blush in Heat Wave
  • Savvy Classic Blush in Cherry
  • TheBalm Instain Blush in Pinstripe
  • Essence Silky Touch Blush in Natural Beauty
I think blush is one of my favourite categories of makeup.  I tend to stick to more muted colours and I think I've got most major colour families in my collection already.  The one thing I might buy this year is a cream blush to experiment with layering it under one of these powders to make both longerlasting as well as on its own for a more dewey finish to the skin.

Contour and Highlight

  • Maybelline Master Sculpt in Medium/Dark
Contour and highlight isn't a category I see myself really needing to purchase in.  I'm very pleased with the product I already have and I've got enough eyeshadow that I can easily repurpose for these uses.  The only exception I might make is to purchase a travel size Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector as I've been wanting to try a liquid highlight ever since I finished my sample of the Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer.

Lips

From L-R:

  • Rimmel Show Off Matte Lip Velvent in Orange-ology
  • Sephora Collection Cream Lipstain in Always Red
  • Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss in Kiss of Life, 111
  • Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede in Fashionista, 80
  • Savvy Perfect Pout Lip Set (2014) mini in Platform
  • Savvy Perfect Pout Lip Set (2014) mini in Nudie Run
  • Essence Longlasting Lipstick in Barely There!
  • Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie (discontinued :( )
  • Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in As You Want Victoria
  • Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in PK02
  • NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler
  • NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu
  • Maybelline Shinesensational Lip Gloss in Berry Bella (discontinued)
  • Essence Lip Liner in Red Blush (formula has been updated since I purchase it)
As a rule it seems I tend to go towards brighter lip shades.  I don't really think there's many holes in my colour sellection, perhaps a burgundy or medium pink but I would like to get some more lip liners so as to have cleaner lip lines.

Nails

Base Coats and Top Coats

From L-R:
  • Essie First Base
  • Natio Top Coat
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat
  • Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat
I'm a big fan of the Insta-Dri as an alternative to Seche Vite (which is difficult to source in Australia). The Essie is also good, it's really fast drying (sensing a theme here yet!).  The only purchase I might make in this category is a replacement for the Insta-Dri but only if I completely finish the entire bottle.

Coloured Polishes
Please ignore the blutack, it's from the lip product photo.  I promise it's not gum!

From L-R:
  • Essence the Gel Nail Polish in give me nude! baby
  • Maybelline Color Show in Blackout
  • Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Copper Pot
  • Sinful Colors Nail Polish in You Just Wait
  • Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Purple Heart
  • Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Berry Important
  • Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in Roulette Rush
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Hot Tamale
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Sun Kissed
  • Natio Nail Polish in Dahlia
  • Natio Nail Polish in Melon
  • Natio Nail Polish in Blossom
I tend to favour warmer colours for my nails though I do want to experiment with greens and blues as well.  The only purchase I know I definitely want to make is OPI's tickle my france-y that I expanded on here.

So that concludes my visual makeup collection and storage.  What do you think?  Is your collection smaller? Larger?  Tell me what you think below!

Weekly Update, (11th-17th Jan)

Hi Everyone,

How has your week been?  Mine's gone pretty well.  Not too much blogging so I probably need to write and schedule some more posts.

So lately on Australia's east coast it's been crazily hot and on the hottest day this week my friends and I organised a water fight.  It was so much fun! (though not something I'd recommend if you don't like cleaning up).  We had over 450 water balloons in total although by the end we were just dumping buckets of water over each other.  10/10, would recommend getting together with friends and acting like kids :)

I also painted my nails this week and I'm kind of ridiculously digging the colour.  I've worn it before and not particularly liked it but I think my summer tan has made it super flattering.  It's Purple Heart by Sally Hansen and it's in the total Salon Manicure range.  It takes two coats to opacity but three is probably better to really even it out.

Look at those cuticles!

I also washed all my brushes this week but I didn't have time to take photos so I'll probably have to postpone my planned brush posts.  Oh well, at least I've got clean brushes!  What do you guys think I should do next?  Palette series?  Eyeliner?  Lips?  Tell me down below!

That's everything for the week.  How was your week? What do you guys want to see next?  Comment down below and tell me!

My Daiso Haul

Ahh Daiso, you $2.80 beacon of happiness.  If you don't know Daiso is a Japanese dollar store in which almost everything is priced at $2.80 (at least in Australia, I know it costs different amounts in different countries).  It can sell some really quality stuff (also some really odd stuff) and I love going there whenever I can.

1) Detergent for Puff and Sponge

A bit of a cult favourite, I've been having trouble getting my hands on some since it usually sells out so quickly.  I love this stuff so much I bought two back up bottles of it (even though I already had one opened at home!).  I think I'll be using this more frequently now since I just bought a beauty blender and I've been trying to make sure I keep it clean.  I prefer this for deep cleansing my brushes, otherwise I use the Daiso Makeup Brush Cleanser instead.

2) Scrubbing Board

This remind you of anything in particular?  While there is a bit of controversy about whether this version or the brush egg came first, I couldn't pass up the chance to try it out to wash my brushes.  I'll do a much more in depth review on this in my upcoming post on how I wash my brushes.

3) Camera Tripod

This is a mini pocket tripod that I bought for me to carry around on the go.  It's small enough to fit into my camera bag alongside my camera and it's fairly stable as well.  It's just a simple screw mechanism that attaches it to the camera.  You can't extend it so you'll need to set it on top of objects to change it's height.  However for $2.80 I really can't complain as it is both convenient and stable.

4) Bookend

Just a bookend, nothing particularly noteworthy about it.  I'm using it to help organise my locker for the coming year.  I learnt my lesson last year (all my books just ended up in a heap) and I'm hoping this will help me avoid that.

5) Plastic Organiser

Also for my locker.  I'll be putting this in the upper compartment to organise some of my smaller items that just sort of float around my locker.

6) Collectibles Holder

Just a clear acrylic holder.  This was a bit of an impulse purchase for though I'm sure I can find something to store inside it.  It's of good quality with the plastic being decently thick with solid construction.

7) Silicon Face Scrubber

Doesn't this remind you a little bit of the Foreo Luna?  I know Sephora also sells an exact copy of this for $6.  So far it's working quite well, it's a very gentle exfoliation and it hasn't hurt to use it.  I've been wanting to introduce some different physical exfoliation into my skincare routine, especially as I'm aiming to phase out any products I have with microbeads in them.  This has worked well for that purpose so far though I'll have to update you guys on this later to see how it continues to work.

8) Binder Reinforcements

Bought both for their actual purpose and as guides for french manicures.  $2.80 for 200 isn't a bad deal at all!

So that brings to a conclusion everything I got on my most recent trip to Daiso.  Tell me, what are your favourite things to get from there?  Is there anything I bought you want to see in action?
